The Inner Circle Traders
A free, structured ICT Trading education resource — 118 articles, 6 daily workflow tools, and a course outline covering the complete Inner Circle Trader methodology.
Why This Site Exists
The ICT (Inner Circle Trader) methodology developed by Michael J. Huddleston is genuinely one of the most complete and coherent trading frameworks available. It is also one of the most scattered. The original teaching lives across thousands of hours of YouTube content, private mentorship calls, and a Twitter archive that stretches back years. Finding a coherent entry point — let alone a structured learning path — is extraordinarily difficult for anyone new to the framework.
This site exists to solve that problem. Every article here is written from first principles against the original ICT mentorship material, organised into a logical learning sequence, and structured so that a complete beginner can start at Article 1 and build genuine competency by following the course outline through to Article 118.
No paywalls. No upsells inside the content. No AI-generated filler. Every article is a thorough, accurate treatment of its topic — written to the standard we would want to find ourselves when learning a new concept.
What You Will Find Here
Free articles across 13 clusters — from foundational vocabulary through advanced models and professional process
Daily workflow tools — Kill Zone Timer, OTE Calculator, Asian Range Planner, Glossary, Learning Path Tracker, and more
Core articles in the structured course outline — 5 phases identifying the essential study sequence from beginner to professional

The 118 articles cover every major ICT concept: the AMD framework, market structure, liquidity (BSL, SSL, equal highs/lows, double purge, liquidation zones), PD arrays (FVG, order blocks, breaker blocks, IFVG, volume imbalance), ICT trading models (Silver Bullet, MMXM, CRT, TGIF, AMD, Power of 3), session timing (kill zones, midnight open, NDOG/NWOG, Opening Range Gap), instruments (NQ, ES, EURUSD, gold, crypto), and professional trading process (risk management, journalling, backtesting, psychology).
How the Content Is Written
Every article is written against the original ICT mentorship material — specifically the 2022 ICT Mentorship playlist on the @InnerCircleTrader YouTube channel, the private mentorship content from 2016-2021, and Michael Huddleston’s ongoing public teaching. No article is sourced from secondary summaries, other ICT education blogs, or AI-generated content.
Where ICT terminology has evolved between the 2022 model and the 2024-25 teaching series, both versions are noted and reconciled. Where different ICT practitioners have developed slightly different interpretations of a concept, the article presents the original ICT teaching as the primary reference and notes any significant interpretive variations.
Each article includes: a key takeaways box, substantive body content with SVG diagrams, a video section linking to the original ICT YouTube teaching, an FAQ section addressing the most common questions on the topic, and an interactive quiz to test understanding. The course outline organises 51 of the 118 articles into a recommended study sequence across 5 phases.
The Learning Path
If you are new to ICT trading, the recommended starting point is the
Course Outline — a 5-phase study sequence that takes you from the foundational vocabulary through to live trading execution. The 5 phases are:
- Foundation & Structure (16 articles) — What ICT trading is, how market structure works, the basic concepts of liquidity and price delivery
- Liquidity (8 articles) — Buy-side and sell-side liquidity, sweeps, double purge, equal highs/lows, liquidation zones
- PD Array Entry Toolkit (9 articles) — Fair Value Gaps, Order Blocks, Breaker Blocks, IFVG, and how to trade from them
- Models & Sessions (12 articles) — ICT trading models (Silver Bullet, MMXM, CRT, TGIF, Power of 3), kill zones, and session timing
- Risk, Process & Psychology (6 articles) — Position sizing, trade management, journalling, backtesting, and trading psychology
If you have some ICT background already, use the
Education Hub to navigate by cluster — browse all 13 topic clusters and go directly to the specific articles you need.
What This Site Is Not
This is an educational resource, not a trading signal service, not a prop firm, and not a managed account service. Nothing on this site constitutes financial advice. The ICT methodology is educational content — its application in live markets carries real financial risk, and every trader is responsible for their own trading decisions.
This site is not affiliated with Michael J. Huddleston or the official Inner Circle Trader brand. All references to ICT concepts, models, and terminology are educational in nature and refer to publicly available teaching content on the @InnerCircleTrader YouTube channel.
The mentorship programme linked throughout this site is a separate paid offering for those who want structured feedback, live trade reviews, and direct coaching — it is not required to access any of the 118 free articles or 6 free tools.
