When displacement occurs over or below a Swing high or low, a market structure shift occurs. Having bodies close over/below the previous structure is preferred. A stop raid before the MSS is preferred.
A market structure shift (MSS) indicates a change in trend from bullish to bearish or bearish to bullish
When there is a lack of displacement over or below a swing high or low, a liquidity grab occurs. Having bodies fail to close over/below the previous structure is preferred.
A liquidity grab indicates a failure to continue in one direction.
